Yellow Exterior - Art for the Street

I've seen these images floating around the interwebs for a short while now & I am so enthralled by them every time I see them.

This is the front of a vegan restaurant Rayen in Madrid & this exceptional work of art is by Fos a multidisciplinary team based in Madrid and Barcelona.

The lamp above the door lights up the whole space with brilliant sunshine yellow which cuts through the table & chairs & painting on the wall & extends onto the pavement.

The protected facade of the vegan restaurant Rayen at Lope de Vega street in Madrid has been illuminated for 4 days and nights by more than 250ml of yellow tape, painted décor items, pineapples and... a lamp. A visual game between perspective and coloured volumes that gained the looks.

Check out this fabulous work & see more photos of how it was done

Moving Number Fifteen HQ

Well where to begin, lets say it's been a busy start to the new year at Number Fifteen to say the least!

The Number Fifteen HQ was based in a large 'pimped out' Summer House at the bottom of our garden, tucked away behind trees away from the house in it's own little space with it's own little garden.  It was wonderful.

Well it was wonderful!
With all this damp weather & heavy rain we've had I'm afraid to say the wet & damp made it's way into the HQ!
*sad face*

Luckily most of the stock is fine as I had everything boxed up in Ikea storage boxes & items are generally wrapped in too, plus the electric is fine too - thank goodness. But we have had to throw out so many things! So much shelving & I'm afraid my lovely big multi-draw bureau that I've had for years is ruined!

So over the week James & I have had to relocate Number Fifteen into our house. Luckily we have a lovely extra room downstairs which is meant to be a bedroom (we have an odd shaped house!!!) that we've been using as a gym so we have taken out all the gym equipment (which is now being stored in James' studio for the moment) & have moved Number Fifteen into that room! It isn't as big as I'm used to at all but I have managed to squeeze everything in.
So this is my new desk area above.
*Ta Da*

Once we sort out the damage in the old HQ we will be putting our gym in there, so hopefully we will get a lot of work on that done over the weekend & James won't have to have the gym things in his art studio for long!

It's been a bit of a pain with it being the first week back to work of the new year & getting orders posted but we've just about done it!
*YAY*

At least I don't have to walk as far to work now!
